The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) is recruiting a professional, courteous, and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to support front desk and hospitality operations at its Lagos guest facility. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent guest experiences, accurate reservation handling, and smooth coordination with internal departments while upholding BSN’s service standards and Christian values.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, confirm, and manage guest reservations with accuracy
- Welcome guests, verify bookings, and oversee smooth check-in and check-out processes
- Register guests and collect all required information, including personal details, nationality, identification, and booking type
- Allocate rooms based on reservations and ensure accurate billing and documentation
- Coordinate housekeeping activities to ensure rooms meet quality standards and guest satisfaction
- Inform relevant departments, including the kitchen, of guest tariffs and entitlements, especially for group and corporate bookings
- Prepare shift handover reports and ensure seamless transition between shifts
- Provide guests with clear information on guest house policies, available services, amenities, and local directions
- Attend to walk-in guests and promote available rooms
- Post guest charges, process payments, and maintain accurate cash and billing records
- Liaise consistently with housekeeping on room availability and status
- Handle guest complaints promptly, professionally, and discreetly
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming front desk environment
- Coordinate porters to assist guests with luggage and room access
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) in Social Sciences, Hotel & Catering Management, or a related discipline
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a reputable hotel or guest house
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to resolve guest issues calmly and efficiently
- Computer literacy and basic proficiency with front desk or office systems
- Team player with flexibility and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- High level of integrity, security awareness, and attention to detail
