Pacific School, established in October 1994 as Pacific Comprehensive College, is a co-educational day and boarding high school committed to academic excellence. We are now seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join our academic team in Akure, Ondo State. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about geography and enjoy inspiring students through interactive and effective teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured geography lessons for secondary school students
  • Foster understanding of physical and human geography concepts
  • Support students’ academic and personal development through mentorship and guidance
  • Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing feedback to improve learning outcomes
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Education, or a related field
  • Teaching certification or relevant professional qualification is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of geography curriculum and pedagogical methods
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills
  • Passion for student development and the ability to motivate learners

Salary

  • Monthly salary ranges from N50,000 to N150,000 depending on experience and qualifications
