Eligibility Criteria for the 2026 Newcastle University MBA Scholarships

To be considered for any of the MBA scholarships, applicants must:

• Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for admission to the Full-time MBA programme at Newcastle University for the 2026 intake
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of substantive managerial experience
• Hold the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honours degree
• Applicants who do not meet the academic requirement may still be considered if they demonstrate significant relevant work experience beyond the minimum requirement and strong career progression
• Have worked or currently work in a sector transitioning toward sustainable business models, such as energy, packaging, or related industries
• Complete the scholarship application form, including submission of an essay of no more than 1,500 words responding to the stated scholarship question
• Submit all application materials in English

Application Guidelines

Applicants must follow the steps below to apply:

• Apply for the Full-time MBA programme at Newcastle University and receive an offer (conditional or unconditional)
• Eligible offer holders will receive a link to the MBA scholarship application form via email
• Complete the online scholarship application form and submit the required essay
• Applications and essays will be reviewed by the MBA Scholarship Committee at Newcastle University Business School
