Job Description
The Front Desk Officer at Oilserv Limited will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients while providing essential administrative and customer service support. The role requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a positive company image at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the imprest account under the supervision of the Office Manager
- Overseeing all receptionist and secretarial duties at the front desk
- Receiving visitors cordially and ensuring a professional representation of the company
- Issuing and retrieving visitor identification tags and maintaining accurate visitor records
- Directing visitors to the appropriate staff and monitoring visitor movement in liaison with security personnel
- Answering incoming calls, redirecting calls, and taking messages when necessary
- Receiving and distributing letters, parcels, and official documents
- Drafting correspondence and preparing outgoing mail
- Maintaining a tidy and well organized front desk area
- Monitoring office supplies, inventory levels, and purchasing new materials within budget limits
- Providing administrative, technical, and logistical support to office personnel
- Assisting with budget preparation, cost monitoring, and expense control
- Organizing office activities, renovations, and event planning when required
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Safeguarding company information and assets
- Performing any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements
