The Fraud Prevention Assistant conducts investigations that support consular adjudications. The role involves document verification, interviews, and collaboration with local authorities to determine the authenticity of applications and supporting evidence.

Key Responsibilities

Investigation and Fraud Analysis

• Conduct document analysis and verification
• Perform phone and in person interviews
• Verify case details with relevant government institutions
• Carry out site visits where required
• Analyze findings to support fraud determinations

Reporting and Case Support

• Summarize complex investigations into clear and concise reports
• Support consular officers in adjudication decisions
• Assist in drafting denial and revocation memoranda
• Protect sensitive and classified information at all times

Education Requirements

• University degree in Law, Psychology, Forensics, Economics, or Criminology
• NYSC Certificate or valid Exemption Certificate

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of four years investigative or research experience
• Experience gained in the police, court system, law firm, insurance company, government agency, or private organization
