Job Summary

The Fleet Management Officer serves as the primary contact for organizations subscribed to CPN Fleet Management services. The successful candidate will manage fleet accounts, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This position requires strong communication skills, technical understanding of vehicle operations, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the Fleet Management Officer

As part of this Fleet Management Officer Job in Lagos, your duties will include:

Client Management and Support

• Serve as the main liaison between the company and subscribed clients
• Provide continuous support to improve fleet efficiency, safety, and cost control
• Monitor client satisfaction and gather feedback for service improvement

Fleet Maintenance Planning and Coordination

• Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance for vehicles and motorcycles
• Work closely with mechanics, workshops, and parts departments to ensure smooth operations
• Supervise field teams to ensure service standards are maintained

Vehicle Inspections and Reporting

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and roadworthiness
• Prepare detailed weekly and monthly fleet performance reports
• Track maintenance history and operational efficiency metrics

Internal Collaboration

• Coordinate with procurement and operations units to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintain effective communication across departments for timely problem resolution

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this Fleet Management Officer Job in Lagos, applicants must possess:

• HND or BSc in Logistics, Transport Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• One to three years of experience in fleet management or logistics operations
• Strong knowledge of vehicle and motorcycle maintenance
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets. Experience with fleet management software is an added advantage
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and supervisory skills
