The company is currently seeking a qualified Financial Controller to oversee key financial activities and strengthen internal financial governance.

Role Overview

The Financial Controller will manage treasury operations, taxation processes, and financial accounting functions. The successful candidate will help safeguard company assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and support financial planning and analysis required for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and treasury functions
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and IFRS standards
  • Manage taxation processes and financial controls
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Monitor capital markets and financial performance indicators
  • Provide leadership across the finance team and guide decision-making

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (First Class or 2:1) in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • ICAN, ACCA, or ACA certification (mandatory)
  • 4–6 years’ experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, or Finance Management
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets, accounting, and corporate finance
  • Excellent understanding of IFRS, taxation, and commercial law
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational ability
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is an added advantage
