A growing beauty and skincare brand in Akala is seeking a creative, passionate, and talented Content Creator & Social Media Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual storytelling and the skills to manage the brand’s social media presence professionally.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality content, developing innovative ideas, and maintaining a consistent online presence that drives engagement and brand awareness.

Salary: ₦130,000/month

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging photo and video content showcasing products, customer experiences, and brand stories.
• Develop and execute content ideas aligned with marketing goals and seasonal campaigns.
• Maintain a detailed content calendar to plan, schedule, and publish posts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Produce reels, product demos, tutorials, mini vlogs, and other engaging formats.
• Manage customer-generated content, product reviews, and testimonials.
• Collaborate with sales and management to generate fresh content ideas and promotional campaigns.
• Edit photos and videos using tools like CapCut, InShot, Canva, Lightroom, or Adobe Suite.
• Monitor social media trends, audio trends, and competitor strategies to keep content current and relatable.
• Handle daily social media activities, including posting, responding to messages/comments, and engaging with the community.
• Track performance metrics and provide weekly reports on reach, engagement, and growth.
• Ensure all content reflects the brand’s image, tone, and values.
• Assist with product launches, campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
• Stay updated on beauty, fragrance, and skincare trends to create relevant content.
• Occasionally support in-store activities or events for content creation purposes.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc in a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in content creation or social media management, preferably in beauty, skincare, or lifestyle.
• Strong skills in videography, photography, and editing.
• Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication abilities.
• Creative, proactive, and attentive to detail.
• Passion for beauty and confidence appearing on camera for product reviews.
• Ability to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines consistently.
• Must be smart, creative, and able to work independently.
• Must reside around Akala Express or nearby areas.
