The META4.0 Master’s programme is a 2-year, fully English-taught course offered jointly by six leading universities across France, Slovenia, Norway, Germany, and Italy. The program is designed to equip the next generation of engineers and scientists with advanced skills in Digital, Clean, Sustainable, and Smart Manufacturing, addressing the challenges of Manufacturing 4.0.

META4.0 combines theoretical courses, applied labs, and internships within a multidisciplinary environment, preparing graduates for highly qualified roles in both public and private sectors. The first year focuses on fundamentals of manufacturing technologies in France and materials science and engineering in Italy, building a strong technical foundation. In the second year, students can choose from four specializations and study in Norway, Slovenia, France, or Germany, gaining international exposure and building a robust professional network.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or related fields such as Mechatronics
• Students in their final year of a Bachelor’s program may apply conditionally but must graduate before 31 July 2026
• IELTS/TOEFL may be waived for students who completed their studies in English at a recognized university in the participating countries, provided an official confirmation letter is submitted
