Key Responsibilities

The Digital Banking Support Engineer will provide technical support and operational management for clients using Systegra SaaS platforms (IBaaS, ISaaS, etc.) and Interswitch’s core digital banking infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd-level technical support for clients on Systegra Managed Service platforms
  • Respond to service requests and incidents via helpdesk tickets, email, phone, MS Teams, or other channels
  • Monitor client activities on SaaS platforms to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct monthly incident review sessions to strengthen client relationships and improve service delivery
  • Stay updated on Core Banking, Wallet, and Security solutions in the payments and financial services industry
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance service offerings
  • Communicate updates and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Provide on-site support for critical issues requiring physical presence
  • Monitor vendor compliance with SLAs and coordinate incident escalation when necessary
  • Collaborate on planned updates, patches, and product enhancements, ensuring minimal operational disruption
  • Maintain system performance dashboards and optimize digital banking infrastructures

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

Education & Certifications

  • First degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Professional certifications are highly desirable, such as:
    • Relational Database (OCA, OCP, OCI, etc.)
    • ITIL or other service management frameworks
    • Project management (PMP, PMI, ACP, PRINCE2)
    • Product management (CPM)
    • Azure certifications (AZ-900, DP-900, AI-900)

Experience

  • 4–6 years’ experience in Enterprise Application Support, preferably within a financial institution or fintech company
  • Basic managerial experience coordinating team efforts (4–6 months)
  • Strong technical knowledge in digital banking, wallet management, fraud prevention, and anti-money laundering systems

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, internal teams, and clients
  • Attention to detail and adherence to operational and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS platforms and core banking technologies
