Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Blogging

• Write, edit, and publish blog posts, articles, landing pages, and newsletters
• Develop original content that educates, informs, and entertains the audience
• Manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely and consistent publishing
• Maintain brand tone and voice across all digital content

SEO and Digital Strategy

• Conduct keyword research using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner
• Optimize content for on-page SEO including meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and readability
• Update and refresh older content to maintain relevance and improve search rankings

Research and Ideation

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, audience interests, and competitor activity
• Pitch innovative content ideas, series, or guides based on research and analytics
• Translate complex topics into easy-to-read, engaging content

Collaboration

• Work closely with designers to source or create visuals such as infographics and featured images
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to produce accurate and informative content
• Ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategies and campaigns

Performance Tracking

• Monitor content performance using Google Analytics or similar tools
• Adjust content strategy based on metrics including traffic, engagement, and bounce rates

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Minimum of 1–2 years professional writing experience, preferably in a B2B or B2C digital environment
• Strong portfolio of published blog posts or web articles

Hard Skills

• Excellent grammar and writing skills; mastery of AP Style or brand-specific style guides
• Proficiency with WordPress, HubSpot, or similar CMS platforms
• Basic HTML knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with social media promotion (LinkedIn, Twitter, Medium)

Soft Skills

• Ability to turn technical topics into clear, reader-friendly copy
