About the Role

As a Cloud Security Engineer at XM, you will play a critical role in securing AWS based infrastructure and supporting the company’s cloud security strategy. You will work closely with technical and security teams to assess risks, respond to threats, and continuously improve security controls across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

In this Cloud Security Engineer job, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and securing AWS based cloud infrastructure
• Implementing, reviewing, and improving cloud security controls and solutions
• Monitoring security logs, analyzing threats, and performing vulnerability assessments
• Supporting incident response activities and disaster recovery processes
• Preparing security reports and contributing to risk assessments
• Developing and maintaining cloud security policies, standards, and best practices

Required Qualifications and Experience

XM is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Security or a related field
• At least one year of experience in Information Security with a focus on cloud security
• Strong hands on experience with AWS services such as IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF, and related tools
• Solid understanding of cloud based threats and mitigation strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of security initiatives

Additional Skills That Are an Advantage

While not mandatory, the following skills will strengthen your application:

• Experience with DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of Terraform or infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with container security concepts
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud environments
