Job Overview
The Program Assistant will provide day to day administrative, financial, logistics, and programmatic support to ensure the effective implementation of Jhpiego projects. This role supports state level activities and works closely with program officers, finance teams, and partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of project activities at state level
- Assist with development of work plans, budgets, and coordination with government and implementing partners
- Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports and documentation
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and program activities
- Maintain project files, databases, and program management tools
- Draft, edit, and proofread technical and administrative documents
- Support capacity building activities for partners and state teams
- Assist with data collation, reporting, and dissemination of project information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field
- Two to three years experience supporting international health or development projects
- Experience working with donor funded programs, especially US government funded projects
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to travel up to 25 percent of the time

Job Overview
The Strategic Information Advisor will lead monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning activities for Jhpiego supported programs. This role provides high level technical leadership on data analysis, visualization, and use of evidence to inform decision making at national and state levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead collection, analysis, and interpretation of RMNCH and related health data
- Support real time data use through routine data review meetings
- Strengthen data triangulation and validation across multiple data sources
- Support implementation research and learning activities in collaboration with academic institutions
- Provide technical assistance to government partners on M and E systems and data quality improvement
- Design user friendly data visualization and reporting tools
- Prepare donor and technical reports
- Facilitate workshops, trainings, and stakeholder meetings
- Support capacity building for monitoring and evaluation staff
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field
- Minimum of eight years experience in monitoring and evaluation within international development
- Strong knowledge of USAID and RMNCH programs in Nigeria
- Experience with DHIS, PowerBI, SPSS, STATA, and other data analysis tools
- Demonstrated leadership in strategic information and data driven decision making
- Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel within Nigeria

Job Overview
Jhpiego Nigeria is engaging Adhoc Consultants to support competency based training of healthcare workers on comprehensive emergency obstetric and newborn care services. The consultancy focuses on strengthening skills related to the use of lifesaving equipment in selected public health facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct orientation for healthcare providers on supplied equipment
- Set up newborn care corners in assigned health facilities
- Deliver hands on training on equipment usage and troubleshooting
- Conduct post training competency assessments
- Prepare and submit detailed consultancy reports
Requirements
- Fellowship in Paediatrics from a recognized postgraduate medical institution
- Advanced degree in Paediatrics or Neonatology
- Minimum of five years post fellowship experience
- Valid annual practicing licence from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned states
- Working knowledge of Hausa language is an advantage
Consultancy Duration and Fees
- Maximum of five non consecutive working days
