Applications are now open for the 2026 UNDP Timbuktoo EdTech Accelerator Programme, an intensive online accelerator designed to support 50 African EdTech startups that have a working prototype or testable product. This fully virtual program equips startups with the knowledge, tools, mentorship, and financial support needed to scale their solutions and become investment-ready.

The programme is ideal for entrepreneurs tackling key challenges in education, including access, inclusion, quality, employability, and innovative teaching methods.

Key Features of the EdTech Accelerator

1. Maturity Assessment

Startups undergo a comprehensive evaluation of their product, market potential, impact, and traction. This assessment is used to design a personalized learning and growth journey tailored to each startup’s needs.

2. Expert Educational Content

Participants will gain access to modules covering:

  • Financing and investment readiness

Selection Criteria
