The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Entrepreneurship Programme supports African entrepreneurs with business training, mentorship, and non-refundable seed capital of up to $5,000. The programme is delivered through TEFConnect, the Foundation’s digital learning and application platform.

The 2026 edition targets young Africans with innovative business ideas or existing businesses that are not more than five years old, across sectors such as agriculture, technology, healthcare, education, manufacturing, fashion, and more.

Participants gain access to structured training, expert mentorship, investment-readiness guidance, and a powerful pan-African alumni network.

Eligibility Criteria

• Are African and at least 18 years old
• Reside in Africa and intend to run your business within the continent
• Have a business idea or an existing business under five years old
• Have not previously benefited from any TEF programme
