The Stowers Summer Scholars Program offers an exciting opportunity for students who are passionate about scientific discovery and interested in pursuing a research career. Hosted by the prestigious Stowers Institute for Medical Research, this intensive summer internship allows participants to work alongside world-class scientists while gaining hands-on laboratory experience.

Over the 8-week program, scholars conduct full-time research under the mentorship of a Principal Investigator or senior lab member, building practical skills and exposure to cutting-edge biomedical research.

In addition to lab work, participants attend weekly scientific seminars, career development sessions, and networking lunches with Stowers researchers. The experience culminates in an all-Institute poster presentation, where scholars showcase their projects.
