Job Description
Applications are now open for the Zeribe Nwosu Scholarships (ZNS) 2026, a competitive funding opportunity supporting Nigerian students pursuing studies and projects in Artificial Intelligence, Innovative Teaching, and the Undergraduate-to-Postgraduate transition.
Now in its fifth edition, this scholarship is fully funded by the Zeribe Nwosu Foundation (ZNF) and awarded as a one-time financial grant to outstanding candidates across selected academic categories. There is no application fee, making the opportunity accessible to students from all backgrounds.
Scholarship Categories
Applicants must apply under one scholarship track:
Undergraduate–Postgraduate Transition (U/P)
For final-year undergraduates or recent graduates preparing to begin postgraduate study.
Innovative Teaching (IT)
For students or early-career educators passionate about developing creative and impactful teaching practices.
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS)
For applicants interested in AI, machine learning, data science, and related emerging technologies.
Eligibility criteria differ by category and are outlined within the official application form.
Number of Awards and Scholarship Value
ZNS 2026 offers the following one-time awards:
- Undergraduate–Postgraduate Transition (U/P): 15 awards — ₦125,000 each
- Innovative Teaching (IT): 5 awards — ₦125,000 each
- Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AIDS): 3 awards — ₦150,000 each
Required Application Documents
Applicants must submit:
- One-page personal statement
- CV (1–2 pages)
- Admission letter
- Two referee letters
- Academic transcripts (Years 1–3)
- Statement of financial need (100–200 words)
- Work portfolio (AIDS category only)
