The Sumitomo Electric Global Internship offers international students the chance to gain practical work experience at R&D labs or corporate headquarters in Japan. This fully funded summer internship is open to students holding a BSc, BA, or Master’s degree.

Internship Locations & Positions:

• Osaka, Japan:
  • Video Content Creation Intern
  • Training Facility Utilization Strategy/Promotion Intern
• Itami, Japan:
  • Human Resources Intern

Internship Details:

• Duration: 10–12 weeks
• Location: Osaka and Itami, Japan
• Deadline: February 6, 2026, 5:00 PM EST
• Sponsor: Sumitomo Electric Industries

Eligibility:

• International students from any country
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a BS or MS degree
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong oral and written English communication skills
