The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Church & Public Relations Officer to drive donor engagement, fundraising initiatives, and public relations activities. This role is critical to strengthening the organisation’s relationships with churches, Christian organisations, and individual supporters, while promoting BSN’s mission and programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to raise funds for BSN’s projects and programmes
• Manage relationships with existing donors and members to ensure continued support and engagement
• Identify, prospect, and enlist new donors and members for the organisation
• Actively participate in planning and executing programmes, events, and campaigns
• Represent BSN at churches, Christian fellowships, and related bodies to gain support and partnerships
• Manage assigned donors/members effectively to maximise endorsements and contributions
• Draft and deliver impactful proposals, letters, and communication materials for fundraising and awareness purposes
• Undertake other responsibilities critical to the smooth operation and success of BSN

Requirements & Qualifications

• University degree or HND in Social Sciences, Humanities, or related fields (minimum 2nd class lower division or lower credit)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Proven marketing and fundraising experience with a track record of meeting targets
• Digital marketing skills are strongly desirable
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage relationships professionally
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage churches of all denominations in a spirit of ecumenism
• Exceptional communication and proposal-writing skills, with attention to detail and impact
