Role Overview

Black Pelican Group is seeking a driven and detail-oriented NYSC Corper (Civil Engineer) to join its project team.
This role offers hands-on exposure to construction and interior fit-out projects, providing valuable industry experience within a professional, high-performance environment.

The successful candidate will support project planning, execution, and site supervision while learning from experienced engineers and project professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support the preparation of structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Participate in site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery.
• Prepare basic reports and documentation as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervising engineer or project manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Currently serving as an NYSC Corper (deployed to Lagos preferred).
• Basic proficiency in engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to high-quality project outcomes.
• Good teamwork and professional attitude.
