The Erasmus Mundus EACH (Excellence in Analytical CHemistry) Scholarship is a fully funded international Master’s programme designed to train highly skilled specialists in modern analytical chemistry.

Graduates of the EACH programme are well prepared for careers in industry (food, pharmaceuticals, materials, energy) and chemical analysis laboratories (environment, food safety, healthcare, and research institutions) worldwide.

The programme combines fundamental and applied analytical chemistry with advanced laboratory training and international academic exposure.

Participating Universities

The EACH programme is jointly delivered by four leading European universities:

• University of Tartu (UT) – Estonia (Programme Coordinator)
• Uppsala University (UU) – Sweden
• Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL) – France
• Åbo Akademi University (AAU) – Finland

The programme is taught entirely in English, with additional opportunities to learn the local languages of the host countries.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with:
  • At least 60 ECTS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • At least 20 ECTS in Mathematics and/or Physics
• Have a minimum academic average of 66% of the maximum obtainable grade
• Demonstrate English language proficiency

Scholarship Funding Options

1. Tuition-Waiver (TW) Scholarships – EACH Consortium

• Covers tuition fees for the full two-year programme
• Insurance not included

2. Erasmus Mundus EU Scholarships

Funded by the European Commission and include:

• Full participation costs (tuition fees + insurance)
• €1,400 monthly allowance for up to 24 months
  (covers living expenses, travel, visa, and installation costs)

How to Apply for the Erasmus Mundus EACH Scholarship 2026/28

1. Submit your application via the DreamApply online application system by January 5, 2026.
2. Upload electronic copies of all required documents, including your final motivation letter.
3. After submission, you will receive an applicant code to track your application status.
4. Be prepared to take an online calculation test in January (after the deadline).
