The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has officially opened its 2026 National Medical Team (NMT) online recruitment.

Qualified Nigerian medical professionals are invited to apply to serve pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj exercise in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are strictly limited to the following medical professionals:

  • Medical Doctors
  • Pharmacists
  • Nurses
  • Environmental / Community Health Officers (EHO / CHO)

⚠️ Only eligible medical personnel should apply.

Important Guidelines & Conditions

  • The 2026 NMT operation is entirely voluntary, in line with international best practices and NAHCON approval.
  • The application process is FREE.
    ❌ NAHCON does not charge fees through agents or third parties.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee selection.
  • All information provided will be verified.
    Any falsification or omission will result in automatic disqualification.
  • Multiple applications will lead to automatic disqualification.

Age Requirements

  • Medical Doctors: 27 – 60 years
  • Pharmacists: 26 – 60 years
  • Nurses / EHO / CHO: 22 – 60 years

General Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be in active service at the time of application
  • Not have participated in the 2023, 2024, or 2025 Hajj operations
  • Be willing to:
    • Work for 28 days
    • Stay in Saudi Arabia for up to 45 days
  • Agree to complete the entire 28-day duty period without disengagement
  • Maintain professional conduct, ethical standards, and strict compliance with NAHCON rules

Guarantor Requirement (Mandatory)

Each applicant must provide a Guarantor’s Attestation from a credible individual who has known them for at least 5 years.

Accepted guarantors include:

  • Career Civil Servant (GL 15 and above)
  • Traditional Ruler
  • Magistrate
  • Local Government Chairman

The guarantor must:

  • Vouch for the applicant’s integrity, competence, and character
  • Provide a valid government-recognized ID

Required Documents

Applicants must upload the following:

  1. Completed Guarantor’s Form
  2. Basic professional qualification certificate
  3. NYSC certificate (where applicable)
  4. Current annual professional practicing license
  5. Passport photograph (white background)
  6. Signed Applicant’s Declaration
  7. Employer’s clearance letter
