Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?
To be considered for the NNPC/TotalEnergies International Scholarship 2026, applicants must

• Be Nigerian
o Must be a Nigerian citizen currently residing in Nigeria.
• Academic Qualification
o Must hold a university degree (Bachelor’s).
o Must have graduated with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or equivalent.
o Degree must have been obtained no earlier than five (5) years prior to the application year.
• Field of Study
o Preferably in STEM disciplines, especially
 Engineering (e.g. Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, etc.)
 Geosciences
 Energy-related or technical courses
• Academic Performance
o Minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0 or equivalent.
• NYSC Status
o Must have completed NYSC and possess a valid NYSC discharge certificate.
• No Similar Funding
o Must not be a beneficiary of another fully funded international scholarship.
