We are hiring a Growth Data Analyst to join our Marketing team.

Role Overview
As a Growth Data Analyst, you’ll use data to drive acquisition, activation, and retention strategies across Bitfinex products and marketing channels. You will own dashboards, analyze large datasets, collaborate with performance marketing and engineering, and turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Team – Marketing – Performance & Customer Acquisition
You will report to the Performance Marketing and Customer Acquisition Lead.

What You’ll Do
• Design, build, and maintain analytical dashboards tracking key metrics and KPIs across campaigns, funnels, and product performance.
• Analyze large user and event datasets (Amplitude, Looker, SQL) to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Identify, explain, and present drivers of acquisition, activation, and retention through cohort analysis and data storytelling.
• Collaborate with engineers and data teams to ensure data integrity, reliable tracking, and consistent measurement frameworks.
• Propose and support experiments: define success metrics, validate results, and recommend next steps.
• Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for marketing and leadership teams.
• Assist in building predictive models for trader LTV to inform strategy and campaign planning.
• Manage data pipelines and analysis for HubSpot, partnering with the BD team on attribution and lifecycle tracking.

What You Bring
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and data management, ideally in financial services / fintech / trading.
• Strong experience with at least one product analytics tool – e.g. Amplitude or Mixpanel.
• Proficiency with
o Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio
o SQL for behavioral, funnel, and cohort analysis
• Working knowledge of ad platforms (Meta, X, etc.) and a good understanding of marketing attribution.
• Technical literacy around APIs, webhooks, and first-party data integrations between marketing tools and backend systems.
• Proven ability to build KPI dashboards, cohort reports, and visualizations, and communicate business impact clearly.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting tracking pixels, event schemas, and UTM structures across multiple channels.
• Crypto/Fintech plus – familiarity with blockchain, crypto exchanges, and user acquisition KPIs (deposits, trading volume, etc.).
• Light Python and/or advanced SQL is a plus.
• Self-starter mindset, strong ownership, attention to detail, and comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Genuine interest in crypto, trading, and analytics.
