Job Description

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Artificial Intelligence (EMAI) is a prestigious, fully funded 2-year Master’s program designed to attract top AI talent from around the world.

EMAI is delivered by a consortium of four leading European universities:

Program Structure
The EMAI program combines mobility and specialisation.
Year 1
• 1st Semester:
Study at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona, Spain
• 2nd Semester: Choose one of the following:
o Sapienza University of Rome – Italy
o Radboud University – The Netherlands
o University of Ljubljana – Slovenia
Year 2 (3rd & 4th Semesters – Specialisation):
You can complete your AI specialisation and Master’s thesis at any of the four partner universities.
This structure allows you to experience multiple countries, cultures, and academic environments while building a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence.

Eligibility Criteria
The Erasmus Mundus EMAI Scholarship 2026/28 is open to:
• Applicants from any country (worldwide)
• Candidates with a strong background in:
o Computer Science
o Software Engineering
o Applied Mathematics
• Graduates of:
o Computer Science
o Engineering
o Computer Engineering
o Electrical Engineering
o Telecommunications
o Physics
o Or closely related disciplines
Additional requirements:
• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
• Final-year undergraduate students can apply, provided they complete their degree before the programme starts

The scholarship typically includes:
• Full tuition fees (no tuition to be paid by the student)
• Full insurance coverage during the program
