Job Overview

The Remote Quality Assurance Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring the high quality and reliability of Moniepoint’s products and services. This role involves designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies to identify and resolve defects, thereby guaranteeing a seamless user experience for our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual and automated testing across various platforms and devices.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and features.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Perform regression, integration, and system testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
