Job Overview
The Remote Human Resource Officer will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy implementation, and administrative support, all within a remote work environment. This individual will play a key role in cultivating a positive and productive workplace culture that aligns with GHI’s values.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to candidate selection and onboarding for remote and in-office positions.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are compliant and supportive of a remote workforce.
- Administer employee benefits programs and address employee inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Support employee development initiatives and performance management processes.
- Facilitate effective communication channels within the remote team.
- Assist with HR-related compliance and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Human Resources, preferably in a remote or distributed team setting.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
