Job Overview

The Demand Generation Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to increase awareness and demand for SFH’s health products and services in Abia State. This includes understanding local community needs, engaging stakeholders, and executing targeted campaigns to drive behavior change and service utilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement demand generation strategies tailored to the Abia State context.
  • Conduct market research and needs assessments to inform program activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local health workers, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Organize and facilitate community outreach events, workshops, and sensitization campaigns.
  • Develop compelling communication materials aligned with SFH’s brand and messaging.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of demand generation activities, providing regular reports.
  • Collaborate with program teams to ensure seamless service delivery and uptake.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in demand generation, community mobilization, or behavior change communication.
  • Strong understanding of the health landscape in Nigeria, particularly Abia State.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
