Job Overview
The Administrative Officer will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting the administrative, logistical, and financial functions of the SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL mission in Kuala Lumpur. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to humanitarian principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including office management, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Support the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and donor reporting.
- Facilitate procurement processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Assist with travel arrangements and visa applications for staff and visitors.
- Maintain accurate inventory of office supplies and equipment.
- Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and events.
- Liaise with local suppliers, service providers, and government authorities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably within an NGO or international organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in English and Malay (written and spoken).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
