Job Overview
The Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient operations, and profitable growth. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for service excellence, and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant management principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Managing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue and control costs.
- Maintaining inventory, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar senior management role.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including P&L management and budgeting.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian hospitality market is advantageous.
