Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our growing team at UPNEPA Renewable Services Ltd. The Electrician will be instrumental in the installation, maintenance, and repair of our renewable energy systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely to meet our clients’ needs across Nigeria. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety protocols, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission electrical components and systems for solar PV, battery storage, and other renewable energy solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing electrical installations to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices during all operations.
• Conduct site assessments and provide technical feedback on electrical system requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a qualified Electrician.
• Proficiency in electrical installation, wiring, and troubleshooting for AC/DC systems.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems, particularly solar PV and battery storage, is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety codes and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Nigeria.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are a plus.
