Job Overview

The Front Desk Officer will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient reception experience. This role is crucial in managing patient flow, appointments, and inquiries, contributing to the overall positive reputation and operational effectiveness of KAAF Specialist Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Managing the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
• Answering phone calls, directing inquiries, and taking messages accurately.
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments efficiently.
• Registering new patients and updating existing patient information.
• Handling patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and hospital policies.
• Coordinating with medical staff and departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Processing basic administrative tasks and maintaining records.

Requirements

• Minimum of a National Diploma (OND) in a relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Front Desk Officer or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A calm and professional demeanor, even under pressure.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage.
