Job Overview

The Timekeeper will be responsible for meticulously tracking and recording employee work hours across various departments. This role is crucial for accurate payroll processing, compliance with labor laws, and effective workforce management. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record and verify employee attendance and working hours using designated timekeeping systems.
• Ensure all time records are complete, accurate, and comply with company policies and relevant labor regulations.
• Address and resolve any discrepancies or errors in timekeeping records promptly.
• Generate regular reports on employee attendance, overtime, and absenteeism for management review.
• Maintain organized and secure records of all timekeeping data.
• Collaborate with the HR and Payroll departments to ensure seamless processing of employee compensation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in administration or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Timekeeper or in a similar administrative role.
• Proficiency in using timekeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong understanding of basic payroll procedures and labor laws in Nigeria.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
