Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication equipment including switches, gateways, and Base Transceiver Stations.
• Perform installation and alignment of VSAT terminals and Carrier Grade Microwave Radios.
• Conduct precise copper and fibre optic cable splicing and termination.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal network performance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards during site operations.
• Provide technical support and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in telecommunications infrastructure installation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in working with switches, GSM BTS, VSATs, and microwave radios.
• Strong understanding of fibre optic and copper cable splicing techniques.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within Ilorin and surrounding areas as required.
• Relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
