Job Overview
Promasidor is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Trade Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Zimbabwe. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing effective trade marketing strategies that drive brand visibility and sales at the point of purchase. The successful candidate will work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand market dynamics and implement impactful trade promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of trade marketing plans and campaigns.
- Coordinate the execution of in-store promotions, merchandising, and point-of-sale materials.
- Monitor and analyse trade marketing activities to assess effectiveness and ROI.
- Support the sales team with trade marketing insights and materials.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers for promotional activities.
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all trade channels.
- Conduct regular market visits to gather competitive intelligence and assess trade execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a trade marketing or marketing support role.
- Strong understanding of the FMCG sector in Zimbabwe.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
