Job Overview
The Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the office by managing complex schedules, coordinating communications, and providing essential logistical support. Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the supervisor’s complex calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents with meticulous attention to detail.
Serve as a primary point of contact, liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Organize and prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas, distributing materials, and taking minutes.
Maintain confidential files and records, ensuring accessibility and security.
Provide logistical support for events, conferences, and workshops.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is an asset.
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative support role.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English; proficiency in other UN languages is desirable.
Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural setting.
