Job Overview

The Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the office by managing complex schedules, coordinating communications, and providing essential logistical support. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the supervisor’s complex calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact, liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize and prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas, distributing materials, and taking minutes.
  • Maintain confidential files and records, ensuring accessibility and security.
  • Provide logistical support for events, conferences, and workshops.
  • Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is an asset.
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative support role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English; proficiency in other UN languages is desirable.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural setting.
