Job Overview

The Hospitalist will be responsible for the direct medical care of admitted patients at Euracare Multi-Specialist Hospital. This role involves managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical management for all admitted patients.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Coordinate patient care with specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and manage critically ill patients.
  • Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records.
  • Participate in patient care rounds and case reviews.

    • Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS/MD) from a recognized institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine or a related specialty.
  • Proven experience as a Hospitalist or in a similar inpatient physician role.
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
