Job Overview

The Content Editor will be instrumental in shaping our clients’ social media presence, with a specific focus on creating captivating Reels. This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of social media trends, visual storytelling, and audience engagement strategies tailored for the Nigerian market and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Curate, edit, and optimize social media content, particularly short-form video (Reels) for various platforms.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative content ideas.
• Monitor social media trends and adapt content strategies accordingly.
• Proofread and fact-check all content for accuracy, grammar, and style.
• Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of assets.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio of social media and Reels content.
• Excellent understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) and their respective content formats.
• Proficiency in video editing software and mobile editing applications.
• Strong command of English language, with exceptional proofreading and editing skills.
• Creative flair and an eye for compelling visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
