Job Overview

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and developing our sales strategy for technical renewable energy solutions in Nigeria. You will engage with clients, understand their energy needs, and propose tailored solutions that align with Ignite Energy Access’s mission and product offerings. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and a passion for social impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technical sales strategy for the Nigerian market.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Conduct detailed site assessments and provide technical consultations to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals and presentations.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems and other distributed energy technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and propose effective technical solutions.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and CRM systems.
