Job Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing TERAWORK’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices within the Nigerian context, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage general ledger operations, including reconciliations and month-end close processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and statutory filings.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
