Job Overview

LawnStarter is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Product Engineer to join our São Paulo-based engineering team. You will be instrumental in developing and scaling our innovative platform, contributing to both the technical vision and execution across our suite of brands. This role requires a strong understanding of full-stack development, a passion for building user-centric products, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-quality software solutions across our platform.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers within your initiative team.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement within the codebase.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure the delivery of robust, well-tested, and maintainable code.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on full-stack technologies.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby, React, Node.js, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and database technologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects from conception to production.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
