The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a dedicated Senior Associate for its Malaria Program in South Africa. Job Overview

The Senior Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting and advancing CHAI’s malaria program objectives in South Africa. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical and project management skills, capable of driving impactful initiatives and fostering collaborative partnerships with government stakeholders and other implementing partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of malaria program strategies and interventions.
  • Conduct data analysis to inform program planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Manage key project activities, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Ministry of Health and other national malaria stakeholders.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building within the malaria program.
  • Contribute to report writing and proposal development.
  • Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in global health or public health programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with the South African health system and malaria landscape is preferred.
