Job Overview

The Lead Well Intervention Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all well intervention operations. This role demands a deep understanding of reservoir engineering, wellbore integrity, and a proven track record of successful intervention project management, ensuring optimal production and asset integrity for our clients in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive well intervention strategies and programs.
  • Oversee the execution of all well intervention activities, including completions, workovers, and P&A.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and third-party service providers for intervention projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
  • Conduct post-job analysis and report on performance, lessons learned, and recommendations.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in well intervention engineering.
  • Proven experience with various intervention techniques and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian oil and gas industry regulations.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
