Job Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Genesis Group by sourcing, attracting, and engaging exceptional talent across all our business units. You will be instrumental in developing and executing effective recruitment strategies that align with our company’s growth objectives and commitment to excellence. This role demands a proactive individual with a deep understanding of the Nigerian talent landscape, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for identifying candidates who embody our core values and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber candidates for various roles across Genesis Group’s diverse business units.
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial job requisition to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience at every stage.
* Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, define role requirements, and develop effective sourcing plans.
* Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, recruitment agencies, and direct sourcing methods, to build a robust talent pipeline.
* Conduct thorough candidate screening, including resume review, initial interviews, and reference checks, to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
* Champion the Genesis Group employer brand, promoting our values and career opportunities to attract top talent.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
* Provide ongoing market intelligence on talent trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activity to inform recruitment strategies.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
* Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in talent acquisition, preferably within the Nigerian market or a similar emerging economy.
* Demonstrated ability to source, attract, and recruit for a variety of roles, including those requiring specialized skills and experience.
* Proficiency in using various recruitment tools and technologies, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media platforms for professional networking.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
* A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong understanding of recruitment best practices and legal requirements in Nigeria.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
