Job Overview

Global Peace Development (GPD) is seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to fill various positions across our worldwide operations. These roles are crucial to furthering our mission of promoting peace as a foundational element for sustainable development. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a tangible difference in communities and who possess the expertise to drive our initiatives forward. Successful candidates will be instrumental in implementing our programs, engaging stakeholders, and contributing to the strategic growth of GPD.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage project activities aligned with GPD’s strategic objectives, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
* Develop and implement innovative strategies for conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and community development initiatives.
* Conduct thorough needs assessments and evaluations to identify critical areas for intervention and measure program impact.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, government agencies, international partners, and other stakeholders.
* Represent GPD at meetings, conferences, and workshops, advocating for our mission and fostering collaborative partnerships.
* Manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and optimal resource allocation.
* Contribute to the development of funding proposals and donor reports, highlighting program successes and future needs.
* Provide mentorship and support to local staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and effective team environment.

Requirements

* A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as International Relations, Peace Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, Political Science, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in program management, project coordination, or a similar role within the non-profit or development sector.
* Demonstrated understanding of peacebuilding principles, conflict analysis, and community development methodologies.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
* Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting, with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team in challenging environments.
* Commitment to GPD’s vision and values, with a passion for promoting peace and development.
