Job Overview

As an IT Intern (NYSC) at Eat ‘N’ Go, you will play a vital role in supporting our IT department’s day-to-day operations and assisting with various technology-related projects. This remote position offers a unique chance to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the enhancement of our IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

* Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues via remote channels.
* Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
* Help with the troubleshooting and resolution of IT-related problems, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
* Support the administration and management of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
* Contribute to the documentation of IT procedures, policies, and system configurations.
* Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, software deployments, and data migration initiatives.
* Assist in monitoring network performance and identifying potential areas for improvement.

Requirements

* Currently serving as an NYSC corps member with a strong academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proficiency in fundamental IT concepts, including operating systems (Windows, macOS), hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking principles.
* Familiarity with common software applications and productivity suites.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users and team members remotely.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
