The Nigerian Army has officially opened applications for the 91 Regular Recruits Intake, targeting both trades and non-tradesmen and women. Eligibility Requirements

Citizenship and Personal Criteria

• Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
• Must be single
• Must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN)

Fitness and Conduct

• Must be medically, physically, and mentally fit according to Nigerian Army standards
• Applicants with criminal records are not eligible

Education

• Minimum of four credits, including English Language, in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE, obtained in no more than two sittings
• Trades applicants must also provide relevant trade certificates

Age Requirements

• Non-trades applicants: 18–22 years by 30th June 2026
• Trades applicants: Up to 26 years by 30th June 2026

4. Print Required Documents after submitting the form:
   • Photo Card
   • Guarantor Form

Screening Process

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for screening in their state of origin
• Screening dates: 9th June – 23rd June 2026
• Candidates must bring all printed documents for verification

• Applicants with tattoos or body inscriptions may be disqualified
• The recruitment process is completely free — candidates should not pay anyone for assistance
