Overview of the Technical Assistant Engineer
The Technical Assistant Engineer will provide hands on support at construction and building sites while identifying potential business opportunities during site engagements. This role blends technical fieldwork with lead generation, ensuring that viable prospects are transferred to the Field Sales team for quick fulfilment.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working extensively on site, engaging clients professionally, and maintaining accurate documentation of activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit construction and building sites within assigned states to provide technical support
- Identify and document potential business leads during field visits
- Transfer qualified leads to Field Sales Agents for execution and closure
- Ensure all leads generated are valid and can be fulfilled within seventy two hours
- Maintain detailed records of site visits, leads, and daily activities
- Support the Field Sales Manager with operational and technical tasks
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management

- Basic technical knowledge of construction processes and site operations

Requirements for the Technical Assistant Engineer
Educational Qualification
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Experience and Additional Criteria
- At least one year relevant field or site experience is an advantage
- Basic understanding of building materials and construction procedures
- Ability to engage clients professionally on site
- Physically fit and willing to travel across different locations in Nigeria
- High level of integrity, reliability, and adaptability
