Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation and Setup

• Configure and prepare VFFS sachet packaging machines for daily production
• Start and monitor machine operations to ensure smooth and continuous performance
• Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate filling, sealing, and cutting

Quality Control and Monitoring

• Monitor packaging output to ensure proper seal integrity
• Verify weight accuracy of sachets to meet product specifications
• Inspect finished products for packaging quality and consistency

Preventive Maintenance

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis
• Carry out lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of worn components
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance and service activities

Troubleshooting and Downtime Management

• Identify mechanical faults or irregularities during production
• Resolve equipment issues quickly to reduce downtime
• Escalate complex technical problems when necessary

Documentation and Compliance

• Record maintenance activities, production volume, and machine downtime
• Follow safety procedures and sanitation standards
• Comply fully with Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines

Requirements for the VFFS Machine Operator Job in Lagos

• Minimum of OND qualification in a technical related field
• At least two years of experience operating VFFS or similar packaging machines
