About the Marketing Officer Job in Abuja

This full time onsite position is designed for candidates with proven experience in beverage marketing, particularly bulk water supply and distribution. The successful applicant will be responsible for increasing product visibility, driving bulk sales, and building strong business relationships across key market segments.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Business Development

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to grow product visibility and market share
• Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution networks
• Secure new retail outlets, distributors, and corporate partnerships
• Drive bulk sales to hotels, schools, offices, event planners, and institutions

Sales Performance and Market Growth

• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets
• Negotiate supply agreements and institutional contracts
• Promote the company’s bottled water products across Abuja and surrounding markets
• Strengthen brand positioning within competitive market spaces

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers
• Manage corporate client accounts and ensure consistent product supply
• Provide excellent customer engagement to encourage repeat business

Market Research and Reporting

• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies
• Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years proven marketing or sales experience in the beverage industry
• Direct experience marketing bottled water in bulk supply is highly preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Self motivated and target driven with the ability to work independently
• Good understanding of Abuja market structure and distribution networks
